Today, the resort of La Giettaz is linked to the EVASION MONT-BLANC ski area, giving access to 445km of runs!!  

Three different ski areas are directly accessible from the resort:

* The La Giettaz ski area (22km of slopes of all levels) 

* The Portes du Mont Blanc ski area (La Giettaz + Megève Jaillet + Combloux + Cordon) offers 90km of fantastic fun for all the family.

* The huge EVASION MONT-BLANC ski area for the most insatiable skiers (Domaine Jaillet + Megève Mont d'Arbois/Côte 2000/Rochebrune, Saint Gervais, Praz sur Arly, St Nicolas de Véroce).

In the village, 15 instructors will pass on their love of skiing.
Group or private lessons: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, free-style

Outside school holidays: group lessons only in the morning.

Children

Snow garden for children aged 4 and above

A fun introduction to skiing, supervised by qualified ESF ski instructors. Snow garden (Club Piou Piou) at the foot of the slopes, baby-tow, fun facilities. Preparation for “ourson” and “flocon” ski tests. ESF rates: children's group lessons

Your holiday: 7 nights in an apartment
for each child: 6 half-days in the crèche - 6 days' sledge hire - 1 snack.

Snowshoeing

Signposted and patrolled snowshoe circuits starting from the hamlet of Le Plan. Information from the tourist office. Off-trail outings, with a mountain leader, can be started from the village, Le Plan and the Col des Aravis.

Cross-country Skiing

Groomed cross-country trails for classic and skating styles - 6km beside the Arondine and through the forest (green and red trails). Free access.

Ski Hiking

If you have a good skiing level, why not go ski hiking with a guide from the ESF. Enjoy going off slopes in security...

Sledging hill

A maintained and supervised sledging slope near the beginner's area and the village: fun for young and old. Access free of charge to.
